ASSOCIATION AWARDS PRESENTED AT

AMHA'S 36th ANNUAL CONVENTION

RODNEY SMITH INDUCTEED INTO

'HALL OF FAME'

Rodney Smith (on right) of US Bank’s Manufactured Housing Division accepts the 2007 ‘AMHA Hall of Fame’ Award from last year’s honoree, Ricky Davis.

Rodney Smith of Conway, account representative with US Bank’s Manufactured Home Division, was recently honored with induction into the Arkansas Manufactured Housing Association’s “Hall of Fame” .

The honor was presented to Mr. Smith during the 36th Annual AMHA Convention ‘Chairman’s Banquet’ - September 21st at The Embassy Suites Hotel in Hot Springs, AR.

As has become customary, the announcement was made through an audio-visual presentation paying tribute to the recipient’s many accomplishments.

Mr. Smith’s induction included the following: "During his career, this individual has been involved with a number of the industry’s most reputable finance providers... He has witnessed the evolution of manufactured home lending from its very beginnings to its status today… He has truly been a constant in a sea of change in the manufactured home industry… His analytical, soft-spoken manner is his trademark. Those who know him use words like ’honest’, ‘thoughtful’ and ‘trustworthy’ to describe this person… His passion for this business and his reserved brand of leadership have earned this man the respect of those around him...”

The honor came as a complete surprise to Smith, who accepted the award from 2006 Hall of Fame inductee Ricky Davis with a heart-felt ‘Thank You’ to Convention attendees.

AMHA’s Hall of Fame was established in 1990 as the Association’s highest individual honor, in recognition of the lifetime achievements and dedication by a person to the Arkansas manufactured home industry and the organization.
